An Anniversary of a Lifetime
“The services you provided made us feel like rockstars”
Mr. and Mrs. Beiros wanted to celebrate their wedding anniversary by taking the vacation of a lifetime in Italy. We wanted them to have the best balance between history, relax, and food & wine, but most of all we wanted them to enjoy tons of fun activities together. They wanted to visit the major Art Cities, like Florence and Rome, but also wanted to take a personalized tour of Tuscany and the Amalfi coast.
Since we wanted to give them the best experience possible, we managed to place them in a spectacular hotel in Ravello, located in a quiet spot with a magical sea view: the perfect location to have the most romantic anniversary dinner ever.
As Mr Beiros is a cheese and wine lover, we arranged for them an exclusive wine tasting experience when they were staying in Positano. Furthermore, we organized a cheese factory visit during their private transfer from Florence, and a special cooking class at renowned Lella's culinary school in Siena.
Thank you for helping with the booking of our trip and being so accommodating with my requests. I couldn't have asked for an easier way to plan the trip of a lifetime. Looking back at the effort put in from me and the end result, I could not be more grateful for all of your accommodations.

The drivers were professional, courteous, and extremely friendly. Not to mention, always on time! It made our trip so incredibly carefree. The tour guides were also fantastic. They were extremely knowledgeable and they all had a wonderful sense of humor, which was greatly appreciated and refreshing! They were so passionate about each city and the history behind it that it was contagious! I made sure to observe other tour guides, as they are everywhere, and those hired by Avventure Bellissime stand out by far! There is no comparison. They truly make you understand the history and make you feel like old friends, it was fantastic! You never felt like just another tourist, you felt like a GUEST.

A Comprehensive Private Tour of Italy

Mrs. and Mr. McCauley decided to have a romantic getaway in Italy for their 10-year anniversary: they already had an idea of what they wanted to do, so we worked together to create a 100% personalized tour.
The couple wanted all tours to be just for them: they wanted to spend their anniversary alone, enjoying only the company of each other. In Rome we arranged a private and exclusive Rome city tour, with a private English-speaking guide. They visited all the highlights of the city, like the Catacombs, the Colosseum, with a visit of the third tier and underground, and a Trastevere district walk. For lunch, in Campo de' Fiori food market they got to taste a selection of local delicacies.
One day, they went for a private day trip to Southern Tuscany, with a special lunch prepared just for them. Then, they went to visit a winery for some wine tasting of local labels combined with a panoramic drive through Orcia Valley. In Florence, we provided them with skip-the-line tickets, because they didn’t want to waste any time, and they enjoyed a guided tour of Accademia Gallery and the Uffizi.
On the Amalfi coast the happy couple enjoyed an archaeological visit of the Pompeii excavations and a full-day private tour to Capri and Anacapri, with a boat tour of the Blue Grotto. Later, from Venice, they enjoyed a full day trip to the majestic Dolomites with Three Peaks di Lavaredo, Cortina d'Ampezzo, and the Misurina Lake. We also arranged for them a private car transfer between Venice and Como Lake, with a stopover in Padua to visit the Scrovegni Chapel and the anatomical theatre at Padua University.

My husband and I had been in talks since before we were married of doing a 2-week tour of Italy for our 10-year wedding anniversary. A year ago we started our research and came across Avventure Bellissime. It had everything we wanted - excellent reviews for both day tours and the overnight tour packages, options for private and group tours, ability to customize our trip to accommodate an extra day in a few cities, private transfers between cities, and excellent hotel bookings.
We went on our trip of a lifetime. Our guides and shuttle services always showed up when/where promised. The tours through the company were phenomenal - both private and group tours: Rome in a day with Francesca and Davide, 2 different Tuscan hill town day tours with Brando and Yaris, the Dolomites and Cortina with Carlo, northern Italy with Giovanni (who even adjusted our trip so we could stop in at a local historical winery because the weather was too poor for a Verona city tour), a Venice boat tour with Giorgia, a Florence city tour with Antonella, and Pompeii, as well as Capri/Anacapri with our adorable Italian-Turkish tour guide.
Many of the tour guides also had excellent recommendations for restaurants and local wine shops, where they would always alert the owners to our arrival or make advanced reservations for us. Aleksandra was very accommodating during the planning and booking process. The stunning hotels that Avventure booked for us were all in perfect locations and we always seemed to have one of the best rooms with the best views, without even requesting it!
The trip exceeded our expectations and was absolutely perfect in every way. Can't wait to book a Tuscan wine tour with Avventure for our 20-year wedding anniversary! You can't go wrong with this company - they make travel logistics look easy and seamless!

A Personalized tour of Northern Italy
“An agency very easy to work with”
Mr. and Mrs. Goddard wanted to have a romantic getaway before a business meeting they had scheduled. We wanted them to relax before their big meeting, so we arranged a visit to the Northern Italian lakes with accommodation in 4 star local family-owned hotels with character and unique locations. They even took a funicular ride from Como to Brunate to enjoy panoramic views of the majestic mountain peaks.
They enjoyed a panoramic boat ride on Lake Como, before their transfer to Milan, where they got to see the famous Last Supper by Leonardo, a masterpiece that can only be seen by booking in advance. In the evening, they attended an opera at La Scala in Milan, while the next day they took a personalized and private tour of Milan’s art galleries.
In Venice, they explored the Secret Itineraries of Doge's Palace as well as a food tour of the Venetian market, followed by cicchetti (a traditional snack) tasting in a typical wine bar, while in Verona they enjoyed an in-depth tour of the famous Arena amphitheatre.
Avventure Bellissime arranged a private tour of Como, Milan, Venice, and Verona for us. We found the agency very easy to work with and very responsive when we made additional requests. The hotels they recommended were lovely and the private boat and private car & driver arrangements were so helpful for my husband. One of our favorite things was La Scala opera experience and the early morning private water taxi transfer from our hotel in Venice to the car park.

The Perfect Honeymoon in Italy

For Mr. Albert and his soon-to-be-wife we started to customize their perfect honeymoon from our
Semi-Private 12-Day Magic of Italy Vacation package. In addition to experiencing all the history and art in major cities like Rome and Venice, they got to customize their trip by adding some stopovers, like a full-day visit to Pompeii.
After that, they took a private half-day Brunello tour where they got to visit, drink, and eat at the famous Montalcino winery, and a private half-day tour to Pisa where they climbed to the top of the Leaning Tower. They even enjoyed some off-the cuff side trips, to Naples and later to Burano.
We wanted them to have the best honeymoon possible, with perfect service throughout all Italy,
so we worked hard, together with our guides, to make their romantic dream come true.
All in all, we got to have a very nice and casual taste of Italia, which was equal parts activities/sight-seeing/touring and shopping/leisure/resting. The people who helped put our trip together understood that we would be strapped for cash after paying for our wedding, so they were very good about working within our budget. Additionally, I guess they informed everybody that it was our honeymoon, because every time we arrived at a new
hotel, there was either a bottle of champagne, a fruit bowl, or a letter congratulating us on our marriage, which was so very cool and unexpected of them.
What happened with us is that once we settled on a price and signed our contract, a week before we were set to fly out to Rome, they e-mailed us all the vouchers. On each voucher, it said a time and place to meet up with our driver/tour guide (usually right in our hotel lobby or near the activity that we would be doing that day), and almost as if like clockwork, we would go down at the time they said with our voucher in hand, and the driver/tour guide would be standing right there holding a sign with our names on it.
Every time they picked us up, if they were driving us, they would show up in these black luxury Mercedes-Benz SUVs, and they would literally know the history of everything we passed, telling us all of it as we drove to keep us entertained throughout the rides. We would ask them random questions, and they seemingly knew the answers to all of them - it was rather impressive. Though they all spoke English perfectly, I did my best to speak to them in Italian, if only to practice what I had learned in school years before, and 95% of the time, they understood me well enough. When they didnt, I would fall back on English or Spanish and that would clear it right up. Nevertheless, they were always so kind to my wife and I.
One driver even went so far as to personally call a great restaurant in Sorrento and set it all up for us so that we could have what seemed like a 7-course meal essentially for free (even though I did leave about a 50-euro tip
because I would have felt bad not paying anything after the waiters were all so nice and accommodating with us). One driver even stopped to buy us "the best Italian ice cream in all of Italy".
All these years later, my wife still talks about how awesome and amazing that trip was, so I would definitely recommend this company to anybody considering using it. Thank you all again for making this special occasion that much grander for us, and I wish we never had to take that beautiful boat ride from the Grand Canal in Venice to Marco Polo Airport to head back home because your country is just so beautifully amazing.
