A Honeymoon of Delights
”The cooking class was the absolute highlights of our trip.”
Mr. Morici and his soon-to-be bride were looking for a customized honeymoon trip combining the treasures of classical Italian monuments with food and wine experiences. Since they were interested in tasting all the Italian typical food and wine, we organized two exciting day trips in Tuscany for them.
In the first one, they visited Orcia Valley wineries, for a tasting session of local labels. Nothing beats a glass of good wine after a day enjoying Tuscany’s famous hills. They also wanted to learn how Italian food is prepared, so we organized a cooking class for them with a renowned Tuscan chef: getting to eat a savory self-made dish really is a wonderful experience.
On the second day, they went on a tour of Chianti hill towns and a winery visit, where they tasted different labels of Chianti, a famous wine with a velvety taste. To make their honeymoon even more special, we had selected for their stay a 5-star spa resort located in a castle, with a private restaurant and winery.
The itinerary was super tailor-made and all our needs were taken into consideration. It was a perfect balance of leisure time, food, and wine experiences - the cooking class was the absolute highlight of our trip!

Wine Tasting in Tuscany for
the Teller & Massin Families
“A once-in-a-lifetime vacation”
The Teller & Massin families really wanted to try Tuscan wine, which they had heard so much about. So, we organized for them a comprehensive tour of Tuscany’s wineries. They explored the Brunello wine area with Brunello wine tasting led by an expert English-speaking sommelier, followed by a typical Tuscan lunch and a stroll in the hill town of Montalcino.
Traveling comfortably in our private minivan to Florence, they stopped in the Chianti region for pics of the beautiful hills and winery visit. They had the chance to learn about all the different labels and varieties of wine, and pick their favourite bottle to take back home.
To end the trip, they were very interested in exploring Emilia Romagna. Hence, after a visit to the Ferrari factory and museum, we organized for them a stop in a Parmesan cheese factory, where they got to taste some real Parmesan and see the quality and the amore behind its creation.
We had a wonderful experience and we owe you a debt of gratitude: you definitely helped to make our once-in-a-lifetime vacation one to remember. We could not have been happier with the result. Initially, we had tried to plan the tour of Italy on our own and found it to be quite overwhelming. Fortunately, we came across Avventure Bellissime on Google and planning became much less stressful.
The Montalcino winery treated us like VIPs, we placed a large order for their wines and we cannot wait to taste Brunello again. A special thank you to Antonella in Florence who knew the answers to all our questions and was so patient and accommodating. The gentlemen in our party really enjoyed the Ferrari visit and the stop at the cheese factory was such a good idea.

Cooking Class and Pasta Making in Italy
“We can safely say we are now Italian cuisine experts!”
Mr. and Mrs. Bateman were interested in learning all the secrets behind Italian food: how it is made, and all the ingredients and cooking tips. In Sorrento, they stayed in a 5-star hotel, with a panoramic view of the bay, enjoying complimentary drinks and an aperitivo with fresh fish.
After a relaxing night before starting a compelling food tour, they visited Mt Vesuvius’ wineries and a Limoncello factory, a renowned liquor that contains an explosion of flavours of Sorrento’s lemons. They finished off this exciting day with a candlelight dinner at a Michelin restaurant, surrounded by the magical lights of the Amalfi coast.
After that, we transferred them to Rome, where they enjoyed a fabulous cooking class. It started with a food market shopping trip for the best ingredients, followed by a pasta-making lesson. The lesson culminated in a satisfying lunch of their own creations.
The food experiences were exceptional; we can safely say we are now Italian cuisine experts!
Hotel locations were very good. The hotels were clean and safe with helpful staff and delicious breakfasts. The Hotel Ambasciatori in Sorrento was exceptional at every level… and I have come back to the States telling everyone and anyone going to Italy to be sure to stay there! I want to thank all the staff of Avventure Bellissime for a fabulous trip.

Remembering Italian Cities by their Typical Food
“We loved every moment!”
Mr. and Mrs. Sandefur wanted to share a dining experience or wine tasting in most of the cities
they would visit. Tasting local cuisine is a great way to fully experience the place you visit, so we
were thrilled to customize a food experience for their entire stay in Italy. We started by arranging
a cooking class in Bellagio on Lake Como, the deepest lake in Italy. They had the opportunity to cook typical fresh lake products, such as succulent fish, and other specialties characteristic of Northern Italy.
After that, they moved to Venice where, accompanied by our local English-speaking guide, they enjoyed a unique wine and cicchetti tour. Cicchetti are an essential part of the Venetian Aperitivo, which is the art of relaxing before dinner, having a drink and a snack.
Furthermore, we organized several dining experiences in top-notch restaurants for them, including a custom tour of the Tuscan hill towns combined with a stay in an old castle, which is now a 5-star luxury hotel with private winery and spa services.
We booked this trip based on their advice and expertise and because we had used their company previously... We loved every moment! It was well planned, organized, and all of the details were set up perfectly... from the drivers meeting us and communicating with us to the hotel reservations, walking tours, winery tours, first class train tickets, and times allotted.
We loved every one of our guides and our driver in Tuscany was amazing. We really appreciated the global fee for all of it and felt that it was great value for the experiences and level of service we received. Also, when I emailed at one point to change a pick-up time in one of our cities, I received a response within the hour (this was during normal business hours) which I really appreciated.”
