Where to eat in Ravenna
For most day visitors to Ravenna, pausing at one of the lively café's in Piazza del Popolo and enjoying a piadina (typical Ravenna style sandwich) would suffice. But, for those looking for a more in-depth culinary experience of the local cuisine we have listed a couple of restaurants to enhance your time in Ravenna.

Ca' de Vèn Restaurant, Ravenna

Our favourite restaurant in Ravenna, both for its setting and casual character. In the heart of the old city, just a short distance from Piazza del Popolo you'll find the Ca' de Ven restaurant which is ideal for a hearty lunch or dinner.

An old vaulted wine cellar, that is very popular with the locals where you'll sit at long tables along with fellow dinners and feast on platters of delicious cold cuts, piadine (gridle breads), a fabulous salad bar as well as typical first and second plates accompanied by divine local wines at reasonable prices.

The restaurant is open daily (except Mondays) and is located at Via Corrado Ricci 24, tel +39 0544 30163
