Naples is probably one of the worst cities in Italy to drive around, its population all seem to possess a self-destructive nature when they drive their cars, and are famous for their lack of patience for people new to their city. Along with the complex one-way street system, as well as finding parking, and the strong possibility of getting lost amongst the narrow streets of the inner city it's probably best to consider arriving at the airport by public transportation. Or at least if you have rented a car and plan to depart from Naples after spending a few days in the city it would be best to leave your car on arrival in Naples at the Capodichino airport. It takes around ten minutes to arrive at the airport from downtown Naples, if you are coming from outside Naples the city by-pass will tak you directly to the airport.

By Taxi to Capodichino Airport, Naples
