On our small group Venice day tours of the Dolomite mountains enjoy a memorable day exploring what many people believe to be Europe's most beautiful range of mountains. During the day we make numerous stops at scenic viewpoints, walk around lakes, visit the home town of the famous Renaissance painter Titian, spend some time in Cortina and enjoy a walk on a level terrain up in the Tre Cime di Lavaredo, from where you can enjoy a splendid view over these majestic mountain range.

The beauty of the Dolomites is in their diversity. Throughout these excursions from Venice, we make frequent photo-stops, it will feel as if you have travelled from one mountain range to another such is the stark variation in scenery. During your day, you'll be able to see glaciers in distance, soaring peaks, emerald green lakes surrounded by forests of pine and larch with reflections of the mountains mirrored on their calm waters, and typical Tyrolean villages clinging to the mountainsides.

At the Tre Cime di Lavaredo, at an altitude of 2,360m (7,500 ft), you'll enjoy one of the best views of the mountains, where you can gaze out across a myriad of peaks and valleys as far as the eye can see. Here you can enjoy an optional short walk along an easy trail beneath the towering peaks to admire neighbouring peaks of the Sesto region and the deep verdant valleys several thousand feet below as part of this Venice Day Tours itinerary of the Dolomites mountains.

These excursions from Venice also include visiting the cosmopolitan Cortina and a delightful alpine village that was the birthplace of Titian. Fantastic day trip to the Dolomites with Justin on the 30th January 2017. As my sister and I stayed on the mainland and not in Venice we were picked up along the way. The rest of the group were picked up in Venice. The people carrier was clean and very comfortable with tinted windows to avoid any glare from the sun. Justin is a great guide, very knowledgeable and a very good driver.. There were eight people on the day trip. We all got on very well and had a good laugh. Justin booked us into a restaurant for lunch. The food was very good and very reasonable. Justin had given us as a group, the choice of an expensive or inexpensive restaurant. He made the trip very interesting. The dolomites are spectacular. The villages were very pretty. Driving through the Dolomites will be an experience we will never forget. We visited just before the major snowfall. We did drive through an area, with a lake and a pretty house, which earlier, had snow settle. The Lake was frozen. It was a spectacular and very pretty sight. Justin also drove us up into the mountains where we saw people skiing. Justin stopped along the way, throughout the day for the group to take photos. I have a lovely collection, special memories of a wonderful day out.

It was a good day trip out of Venice. We had wished for better weather conditions but that could not be helped. Justin tried his best to bring us to places to 'catch' the mountain views and some blue sky. Nonetheless, we all had an unforgettable trip. We have some beautiful photos for keepsake.

We have travelled extensively but our trip to the Dolomites on September 28th tops it all! Our guide was Daniel and we couldn't thank him enough for his expertise in this region, he was educational but most of all so accommodating to our group, knew exactly where to stop for the best views and pictures, where he took us for lunch was one of the best meals we had while in Venice. We were 4 in my group and met 4 other wonderful guests on the same tour and had a wonderful time, I highly recommend this tour, it's a must while in Venice. Thank you Daniel for making this day unforgettable!!!!

Really enjoyed our tour of the Dolomites. We had Justin as our tour guide. He did an excellent job at giving us the best views for photos and letting us know lots of information on the area etc. It was only a small group (7 + Justin), we met a lovely bunch of people and had a lovely day. The weather did help as it turned out to be a lovely sunny day. Had a nice lunch next to a very picturesque lake. Make sure you take a jumper for the top of the Dolomites though it got down to 6 degrees at one point, luckily it quickly warms up on the way down. Thanks again to Justin.

I think Doromite's view from top of the mountain was best in my life! And Carlo was really nice driver! We really want to say thank you to him!! We joined this tour on 7th July.

We had a great trip! Daniel was a great guide. He pointed out things that would be interesting but didn't overwhelm us with too many details or anything we didn't care about. We loved the pacing of the trip (rest stops, small town stops, time in mountains, etc), as well as all the locations. It was a great escape from Venice and a highlight of our three weeks in Europe. We will definitely look your company up again the next time we're in Italy!

Our trip to the Dolomites and Cortina was absolutely breathtaking. I have been to many mountain ranges, but I have never seen 360 degrees of such beauty. Whichever direction you turned the view just got better and better. Our guide Justin was absolutely amazing. He took time to answer all of our questions and enjoyed "making beautiful pictures". Our lunch was wonderful, and he told us the best dishes to order. The deer was amazing. I really enjoyed our conversation about food (and soft shell crab) after lunch. I would highly recommend this tour and hope that sometime I can return and actually stay there for a few days.

I have to say that our tour guide Justin was incredible. He made our day to the Dolomites not just beautiful but fun and educational also. The scenery was breathless and he knew the specific places to stop and take amazing photographs, he took some wonderful photos for me and my family. We stopped at the town where Italian painter Tiziano was born ( Pieve di Cadore), this was not only a picturesque, peaceful small town, but also Justin knew where to have the best cookies and cappuccino. I have not been able to forget those wonderful cookies. This was just one of the amazing experiences I had during this tour. The rest of the day was full of sighs and beauty. The food I can't begin to describe how delicious it was. I recommend everyone to have a glass of prosseco during lunch. Thank you Justin for the unforgettable day and the risotto recipe

Great change of scenery from Venice. Lots of photo stops and break stops, and the drive round the Dolomites loop is spectacular. Our guide Felipo was patient and knowlegeable on the areas we visited. He would also recommend us the best vantage points to shoot that photo as well as local lunch hangouts. We were met at the meeting point on time and brought back to Piazzale Roma on time. To sum it up - you could never do this tour on your own.

What a spectacular, visually stunning mountain, landscape ! Our diver, Justin was very gracious, professional and well informed. He was able to give us tips on where to take the best photos, and how best to budget our time. I would strongly recommend this trip and this tour company. Over the years we have taken 4 separate tours with Avventure Bellissime, each was professional, highly informative and a real pleasure.

As an Architect, I also recommend the Vicenza and Palladio Villa tours.
Looking forward to the next time, perhaps the wine country tour!

We had a wonderful tour with Justin as our driver and guide. He is friendly, inclusive and imparts his genuine love of the area. We had a good group of people with us which also helps.

Each place we went to was more beautiful than the last. The area is breathtakingly gorgeous. And we were lucky with the weather.

For us it would have been even better if we went to fewer places and spent more time taking in the profound beauty.

We LOVED the Dolomites tour. The guide was Felipo and he was very knowledgeable and kept things moving at an appropriate pace. The views from the top of the three peaks were breathtaking. My one regret was that we didn't have time to stop for a beer in the 16th-century bar!

Would definitely recommend this trip to anyone visiting the area.

Our June 17, 2015 Dolomites trip was spectacular and then some. Words nor pictures do justice to the Dolomites on a great weather day like we had. But like most guided tours, the guide makes it and Daniel is an excellent person to spend the day with. Knowledgeable, friendly, a very safe driver, and so accommodating.
We had asked to include some kind of wine or cheese tasting as part of an already long day, and Daniel gave us a couple of options which meant adding an hour or more to the day. He found an absolutely lovely small winery where we were the only guests of a beautiful family that shared their small-batch production of red wine, white wine, and several homemade cured meats. All of it, the products, the people, the scenery, and the day, were a high point of our week in Venice. Highly recommended!

The Dolomites Tour is all that which is mentioned in their website and then some more. :-) I would recommend this in your to do list if you are in Venice or if you have time to spend some days in the Dolomiti area, that's even better.

Its awesome! The Dolomites will leave you spell bounded - if there's a slice of heaven on earth, it is here, for sure.

The tour started promptly. Since there was a large number of us that day, we got split into 2 groups in 2 vehicles, and each group had a guide accompanying us. We were with Alberto, an aged gentleman, who was our guide cum driver. Well, Alberto was fantastic........he put all of us (we were 7 in our group) at ease from the very beginning, it was re-assuring to hear the golden words that "if you want to stop somewhere just say Alberto we want to, if you want something, just say Alberto we want....I am at your disposal" And with those words, our tour began........ And Alberto kept us engaged with his stories, with his jokes, with his informations..........in short, we could not have asked for a better guide or driver than Alberto.

Another example of doing service beyond to make his customers happy was when after entering Tre Cime de Lavaredo and reaching the top, the weather suddenly changed and it started to rain. Well, Alberto got out, got wet trying to get the umbrella he had at the back of his van. And afterwards when we drove down to have our lunch at a scenic lake side town, the weather cleared and we could see all 3 mountain peaks and some of us rued that how we should have visited the top now and should have had lunch prior to going to the top..........well, Alberto took us back up, to a mid point where we got lovely photo opportunities with the peaks (obviously one could not enter the park again since that involves a fee).....that's is what customer service is all about.

This tour is every penny's worth the price that you pay for it.

We loved the Dolomites tour and we thoroughly enjoyed Alberto's company and his advice - whether it was the coffee stop or recommendation of gelato at the home town of Tiziano.

Thank you Avventure Bellissime for this glimpse of heaven on earth ! :-)

Ahhhh....the majestic Dolomites! Such scenery should be seen at least once in your life! Even though the weather threatened our tour with rainfall and thunderstorms just before our departure, our guide Daniel ( also known as Danny Boy) said he had spent most of the early hours praying for better weather....and was granted his wish!
The emerald lakes, the high clouds towering the immense mountain tops as crowns were stupendous!
Daniel was filled with wise knowledge on just about everything, taking his time to make us seize all the importance and beauty of the region!
Grazie per questa giornata stupenda!

He made lots of stops along the way for photo opportunities. We stopped for lunch at a great restaurant. Then in the van and up to the Dolomites. WOW!!! They are beautiful. We didn't get fantastic views due to low level cloud but it quickly changes and we saw some of the peaks and valleys. Cortina was beautiful.
