Before lunch, we'll visit a local vineyard to learn more about the wine-making in the Chianti and to enjoy our first wine tasting of the day.

An optional lunch can be taken at a delightful Trattoria known only to the locals. Located at the end of a long dirt road that terminates at a small hamlet lost in the Tuscan countryside, enjoy an undisturbed panoramic view of the hill country and delicious regional cuisine as you fall under the spell of the Tuscany.

In the afternoon, our Private Florence wine tours explore Chianti off-the-beaten-track visiting Medieval hill towns and their fortresses that once formed the league of Chianti in the 13th Century where you'll enjoy further incredible views of the countryside.

To celebrate your day tour of the Chianti wine regions we will visit another noted vineyard for your second wine tasting. Full day wine tour of the Chianti region 24/4/2016. Party of 4. Driver: Adreano. We had a fantastic day on this private tour made so special by our driver who felt like an old friend rather than a guide. This was the complete package in every way - informative, amusing, good food & drink, personal touches from the driver, cannot rate this tour highly enough. Thank you to everyone involved & especially Adreano.

We did the full day private Chianti wine tour and loved it! Jonathan was a delight and really made our tour enjoyable. We visited 2 wineries, the first was larger and more commercialized but the grounds were beautiful and we had the most delicious lunch with wine pairings. The second winery we went to was smaller and by far our group's favourite. It was family run and the tour gave us an intimate experience into the Chianti wine making process.
I would highly recommend this tour.

We had a fantastic trip with our guide Alessandro. He was extremely knowledgeable of the Tuscan region and had great stories about the history of florence. He took us to great places for photos and took the time to explain the history of various towns and castles. We highly recommend him and will definitely tell our friends! Thanks again!
