And travelling with our expert driver guides you'll make the most of your time on our small group half-day Chianti wine tours from Florence.

Before entering the Chianti region of Tuscany and on the way out of Florence, pause at Piazzale Michelangelo for the best view of the city. Then following back roads, we'll enter the Chianti classico. Making frequent photo-stops en route, we'll spend some time in one among the most beautiful "Borghi" villages of Italy - Montefioralle. Probably one of the most ancient hill towns of Tuscany, it has still got its original walls protecting it.

Driving through spectacular Tuscany countryside roads we'll reach Greve in Chianti, the most famous village of this area. Following a walk under the porticoes surrounding the beautiful square dating from 1300, you'll have the chance to visit one of many wineries in town, where to you can taste the super Tuscan reds by the glass, from Chianti to Tignanello, as well as the superb olive oils produced in the region.

We'll then continue our journey visiting a celebrated wine estate producing Chianti wines. And after enjoying the visit of the winery and tasting its wines, on your half-day Tuscany Chianti Wine Tour we'll return to Florence following a panoramic route.

I specifically chose this tour because of its itinerary — Piazzale Michelangelo, Montefioralle, Greve in Chianti, and a winery. We only stopped at Greve in Chianti and the winery. That's perfectly fine, since you can only do so much in 4 hours, but I think the description of this tour should be altered to more accurately reflect reality. Raffaele the tour guide was very friendly and knowledgable, but I did not appreciate how he bypassed Piazzale Michelangelo, said we would return to it, and then did not follow through on his promise. The tour was pleasant but I don't see what distinguished it from similar tours from other companies.

Thank you for a wonderful half day tour.

I meant to write sooner, but reality has interrupted my life.

Where we come from, visiting many different wineries in the same region is not unheard of. I tried researching your company and the other company we joined, to try to make sure they were different vineyards.
Mafalda Chiesa was wonderful. She went way out of her way to arrange a change of winery visit when she learned that we had already been to Casa Emma a couple days before.

Thank you for wonderful memories!
