Original Venice Walk
11.10 am (2 pm on Sundays). During this Venice Walking tour, you'll learn the history of Venice from its origins to the modern-day. Visit St. Mark's Square, where you'll learn the history that lies behind the walls of its famous landmarks, the Doges Palace (only exterior) and St. Mark's Basilica (interior visit). Then we leave the square and our journey continues with a walk through the Hidden Venice. Your first part of the tour will finish by the Rialto Bridge at 1.10pm.After a break, we'll meet again in the afternoon for the second part of our Venice Day Tours.

Grand Canal Boat Tour
At 4.30pm (other times in winter months). Limited to a maximum of 8/9 people, during this boat tour of Venice Grand Canal and minor canals, you'll learn the history about the stunning palaces, churches, and other important buildings that line its banks, while being entertained by stories and anecdotes of some important people that lived in these palaces.

On our small group tour of the Dolomites enjoy a memorable day exploring Cortina and the Dolomite mountains. During the day we make numerous stops at scenic viewpoints, walk around lakes, visit the home town of the famous Renaissance painter Titian, spend some time in Cortina and enjoy a walk on a level terrain up amongst the soaring peaks of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo, from where you can enjoy a splendid view over this majestic range of mountains.

The beauty of the Dolomites is in their diversity. Throughout the day, as we make frequent photo-stops, it will feel as if you have travelled from one mountain range to another such is the stark variation in scenery. During your day, you'll be able to see glaciers in distance, soaring peaks, emerald green lakes surrounded by forests of pine and larch with reflections of the mountains mirrored on their calm waters, and typical Tyrollean villages clinging to the mountains.

At Tre Cime di Lavaredo, at an altitude of 2,360m (7,500 ft), you'll enjoy one of the best views of the mountains, where you can gaze out across a myriad of peaks and valleys as far as the eye can see. Here you can enjoy an optional short walk along an easy trail beneath the towering peaks to admire neighbouring peaks of the Sesto region and the deep verdant valleys several thousand feet below.

Our tour includes also the visit of the cosmopolitan Cortina and a delightful alpine village that was the birthplace of Titian. After a fulfilling day spent in the Dolomites, sit back and relax as we return back to Venice through the ever-changing scenery of the mountains illuminated by the late afternoon sun.

Our party of 4 took the tour of Dolomites and Cortina on Sat Oct 17, 2015 and it was absolutely more than I expected. The driver, Justin, was very knowledgeable of the area, an excellent driver, and stopped often for beautiful pictures of scenery I had never imagined. He also suggested some of the best restaurants/coffee shops ever!!

I would highly recommend this tour. It was slightly less expensive than others I had seen, but provided more than I could have ever imagined. It was the highlight of my stay in Venice.

This is really a 4-3/4 rating!
We booked through Viator and the only negative was it was not clear that there was an hour or so free time between the end of the Venice Walking Tour and the beginning of the Grand Canal Boat Tour with the result that we were forced to miss the latter because of an overlap with a Gondola Trip. AB did all they could do to get us on an earlier Grand Canal Boat Tour but alas no vacancy. Walking Tour was altogether excellent and trip to Dolomites was, in a word, AWESOME!!! The scenery is better than anything in the Sierras, Tetons, or Rockies and the villages along the way were very picturesque. This tour was just the right mix of van travel (very comfortable), walking, and hiking. And the lunch at a very picturesque restaurant overlooking a beautiful alpine lake was very good and reasonably priced. Pickup point for the Dolomite tour not very well described by Viator. It is at the main transit plaza on Tronchetto which is the #2 Tronchetto Vapor stop. This is a GREAT COMBO and the Dolomites simply are not to be missed!
