We have recently done the 10 day semi guided tour of Italy with Avventure Bellisime and it was THE BEST!

Absolutely the best thing we have ever done with our travels and we would highly recomend this company.

Everything ran like clockwork - fantastic guides and drivers - everyone and everything is just like the brochure promises.

If you are only thinking of using this company "just do it" as you won't regret it.

Spectacular company! Our customized tour of Italy was fantastic. We picked the places: Rome, Sorrento, Capri, Pompeii, Florence, Cinque Terre and Venice, and Aleksandra at Avventure Bellissime did the rest. From hotels to local transfers for six people by Mercedes to first-class train transfers and outstanding tours in every place, all was perfect and went like-clockwork. We were treated like royalty by our drivers and staff at the hotels recommended by the company. Our drivers and tour guides were always on time, knowledgeable and went out of their way to make every moment an enjoyable and edifying experience for us. Thank you to all our guides: Francesca and Lucca in Rome, Pinar in Capri, Laura in Florence, Lorenzo in Cinque Terra and Fiona and Francesca in Venice. This is surely the way to travel. Even the financial details were handled expertly by Claudia. Avventure Bellissime is a company you can rely on to create an unforgettable, first-class trip to Italy. Grazie mille!

Avventure was wonderful to work with. They responded promptly to my inquires.

The trip was flawless. The drivers were prompt, our guides were informative, and the schedule worked perfectly for our party of 4.

We upgraded our hotel in Rome to the Visconti which was a great property. My only suggestion is to provide more detail on the tour meeting locations. We had difficulty finding the Scozzi Palace in Florence.

Our group all agreed the transportation (private transfer and train) was the best way to go.

This company is excellent!!!. I almost booked with another company but I'm glad I did my research because we couldn't of asked for a better experience! I found it very straightforward and easy to book from the United States even though the company is based in Italy. They answer emails promptly and professionally. When we arrived in Italy I did not immediately see the driver so I called the company and she assured me he was there and indeed he was we just did not get to that part of the airport yet. The drivers are extremely courteous and helpful. The tour guides are so knowledgeable and make the tours interesting I have to give a shout out to Francesca and Antonella... they were amazing! Antonella even takes you to the most strategic places to get the best photos! The hotels went beyond my expectations. I came home and already starting recommending this company to friends and relatives. I hope to get back to Italy someday and if I do we will definitely go with Avventure Bellissime!

Our trip exceeded my expectations. It was wonderful. Here are my comments/observations.
1. The drivers that picked us up and escorted us to our hotel or train station were all very polite and professional. They answered all of our questions and made us feel comfortable. I loved the Mercedes sedans/vans and that it was private. We didn't have to wait for anyone else.

2. The hotels were excellent. They were all clean in a great location with English speaking staff. There are so many hotels in these cities, it would be very difficult to select one. The staff at each one was helpful and offered to make dinner reservations for us. The breakfasts were great, most especially the Imperial Tramontano in Sorrento. The selection was exceptional along with a beautiful view of the water.

3. Our Vatican tour guide, Francesca, was excellent. She was very knowledgeable and interesting. She was also sensitive to our needs. Our tour turned out to be only 4 people and she was very attentive to us. She did not rush us, asked us if we needed to sit or use the restroom.

4. We were unable to make the Ancient Rome walking tour and we advised your company prior to arriving in Rome. We were very pleased to receive a refund. We greatly appreciated that.

5. Our Florence walking tour guide, Antonella, was also informative and interesting. She was friendly and patient. I learned so much about the city in a short time.

6. In Venice, we had a walking tour and a separate boat tour. That was an excellent way to se the city from land and water. Both guides were interesting and informative. Our gondola ride was private and very enjoyable. It was a perfect way to spend our last evening in Italy.

7. Your company provided a detailed itinerary. You were very responsive to emails. Although you were located in Italy, I found it easy to book the trip from the US.

Overall, I would rate this trip as excellent. Your company took care of transportation, hotels and some tours. However, we had plenty of free time to explore each city without being tied to a strict tour schedule. Other tours include dinners, but we preferred and enjoyed selecting restaurants on our own. It was the perfect combination. I wish I had more time in each city, but I feel I saw the highlights. A longer trip would not have been affordable for us. Also, other tour companies do not offer Rome/Florence/Venice with the Amalfi coast in only 10 days.

One observation that is not meant to be a criticism is that the shower in the Hotel Ca' dei Conti in Venice was extremely small. A guest that is large in size would have a very difficult time taking a shower. I don't know if that is common among the Venice hotels, but if I were overweight, I would have been extremely disappointed. The hotel was beautiful and a short walk to St. Mark's Square.

Thank you very much for professionalism and providing us with an excellent vacation. If you have any specific questions on anything, I would be happy to answer them.

My husband and I just completed the 11 day (we added a day in Sorrento)Amalfi, Rome, Florence and Venice tour and I have to say everything about the trip was perfect. I do mean PERFECT.
Our accommodations were all excellent (up to date, clean and spacious). The service was great, breakfast was good, and all were in very convenient locations. We opted for the Recommended Upgrade Superior Four-Star Hotel package and I felt that this was more than worth the price difference. All of our transportation was on time and the drivers were friendly and helpful.
Our tour guides were phenomenal; especially Francesca that we had for both the tour of Ancient Rome and the Vatican and Patti who was our guide on the day long tour of the Amalfi coast. I really can’t say enough about how wonderful an experience it was dealing with your company and enjoying our vacation. We will definitely recommend Avventure Bellissime to anyone looking to take a vacation to Italy in the future.

We recently returned from our tour of Italy. We were extremely pleased with this tour package. From internet research, it appeared that this package went to the places we wanted to visit, had nice accommodations, front of the line entrances, and was attractive because of the small group tours. This trip truly lived up to its billing!

We liked the transportation arrangements while in Italy. The drivers who picked us up at the airport/train stations were courteous and helpful, providing tidbits of information that helped us navigate train schedules. We loved the locations of our hotels, with the exception of Sorrento, since they were all near the sites we wanted to visit. The guides on our small group tours were exceptional! Since our Vatican guide, Lucca, had previously worked at the Vatican, he provided a wealth of information that I doubt any other group received. Francesca, our guide for the Coliseum and Forum, made the area come alive, transporting us back to ancient Roman days. Her previous experience with the archeological digs provided a unique perspective. Our Florentine guide, Antonella, pointed out “hidden treasures” that I suspect the vast majority of tourists never see. Her knowledge and passion about Michelangelo brought his sculptures to life, particularly the statue of David. Andre was a proud Venetian who reveled in discussing his city. Georgia, our small group gondola guide, was so bubbly (even in repressive heat) and excited to show us the city.

I would highly recommend this tour package to anyone! It provides a time of sightseeing while allowing free time to explore on your own.

My only suggestion would be to affiliate with another hotel in Sorrento nearer the city center. Parco dei Principi, while a nice property, would probably be more acceptable to a couple looking to get away from the hustle and bustle. I was travelling with 2 young women, ages 18 and 21, who enjoyed the nightlife. Although the hotel had a shuttle service, it quit running at 11:15 and the hotel was not within walking distance of the city center, especially at midnight in an unknown area.

Overall, the memories we made on this trip will live with us for a lifetime!

We had a fabulous time in Italy! The hotels were wonderful, as were the tours and tour guides who were all extremely knowledgable and passionate about Italy's history. Your staff were always there on time to greet and drive us to the hotels or train stations. They were all extremely courteous and helpful in providing directions or advice.

The only negative experience we had was at the end of the Best Of Rome Mini Van tour. Much to our surprise, we were dropped off at a restaurant that was no where near where we had started out -- the Spanish Steps --and told by the tour guide (who was lovely) where we could catch a cab to return to the Spanish Steps. The tour guide and driver then left us. We had no idea that we needed to pay and provide our own transportation back to where we began the tour.

We were completely ignored at the restaurant while others who sat down after we did were served. After 20 minutes I went inside and explained that no one was serving us. They seemed annoyed with me and it took another 10 minutes to receive the glasses of wine and plate of appetizers. It was by far the worst service we received in Italy and a poor way to end our first full day in Rome.

You may want to consider finding a restaurant closer to the Spanish Steps or at the very least letting people know in advance that they need to provide their own transportation back to the Spanish Steps.

Other than that one negative experience we had a wonderful trip and will highly recommend your company and its services to others.

Wonderful tour, great package and Avventure Bellissime was incredible to work with. We took our family of 4 on this trip, being from America, I was concerned about booking a vacation package with a company outside of the US, but the vacation package was exactly what we wanted so I decided to inquire. From the very first email inquiry the team at Avventure Bellissime were incredibly friendly and responsive to work with. They answered all of my questions and worked with us to create the perfect dream vacation.

They took care of all of the details and made sure the timing for the trains worked with the hotel check-in and check-out policy so we never had to worry about carrying our luggage around. All of the hotels, tours and especially the drivers spoke English and were so welcoming. I would recommend Avventure Bellissime for any tour package and I look forward to working with them again for our next vacation.

I booked our entire trip with Avventure Bellissime. My husband and I went for our first wedding anniversary and my 30th birthday. What an incredible trip! Months before our October vacation, I was wavering between booking everything on my own or going with a travel agent. I am so happy I decided to go with A.B.! Everything went perfectly. From the hotels, to the trains and the private transfers to the small group tours.... I wouldn't have changed a thing! I planned the trip with Aleksandra's help (all via email). The time difference was a little difficult as I live in California, but all my questions and concerns were promptly answered by Aleksandra or another professional from A.B. With our limited time in Italy, we wanted to make the most of our visit. Avventure Bellissime definitely made that possible. We saw so much of the country in less than two weeks, yet it didn't seem rushed at all. Please use this travel/tour company. You will not regret it.

I booked my family's Italy vacation through Avventure Bellissime and it was a perfect fit for us. I would have to agree with the previous traveler who said it was the "best tour without being part of a tour" - it was definitely exactly what I was expecting and wanting. I started with the basic 10 day Rome, Sorrento, Florence, Venice semi-private tour, and customized from there, adding days in Sorrento and Florence and a couple of private tours as well. Aleksandra was so efficient in answering all of my questions, and all of my vouchers and tickets arrived exactly on schedule. We were met in a timely fashion for all of our transfers - the drivers were great and the tour guides amazing. My husband, 2 teen daughters and myself got so much more out of the tours because we were in small group settings. We chose the 3 star hotel level package, but decided to upgrade in Sorrento to the Hotel Minerva. The Minerva was exquisite and I'm so glad we splurged a bit there. For the other cities, I knew we would not be spending a lot of time in the rooms, so I did not see the need to upgrade, and they were all very comfortable, clean and well-located. We stayed at the Diplomatic in Rome, the Kraft in Florence, and Violino d'Oro in Venice. I loved being able to have some independence and flexibility without having to be shuttled around on someone else's schedule, while at the same time having expert guidance when we needed it. It was a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend Avventure Bellissime.

I also want to heap some praise on our outstanding guides: Francesca for the Ancient Rome and Vatican Tours (amazing energy and knowledge); Carmine in Pompeii (we learned so much and he was quite amusing); Caterina in Florence (a sweetheart, and so knowledgeable); Sabrina for our private Canareggio and Jewish Ghetto tour (we felt like we were hanging around with a family friend we hadn't seen in a while and gaining a wealth of knowledge); Fiona for the Essence of Venice Tour (she really engaged my kids and got me to forget it was raining on us); and finally Christina for the Grand Canal Boat Tour - it was our last hurrah and so enjoyable. I think A.B. really knows how to pick their guides - Bravo!!

My wife an I just returned from the 10-Day Amalfi, Rome, Florence & Venice Tour. It was absolutely the best vacation of our lives. It is called a tour but it really is a private vacation, Avventure Bellissime handled all the details for hotels, private car transfers, trains and small group tours. No big groups that you see walking around and no bus. It was perfect in every way. We did all the tours that Avventure Bellissime set up for us and added several in each city on our own by using Rick Steves tour book. Bellissime makes it very easy for you they pick you up at each destination an take you to the hotel then pick you up an drop you off at the train station for you next destination. All the hotels are located in walking distance of the tours, no bus or cab to get you back to what you came to see. If you do not want to be led around by the nose in a massive group an shuttled on an off a bus then this is the company for you. We will definitely recommend this company to our friends and use them again when we return. thanks for a unbelievable vacation!

Dear Avventure Bellissime,

Thanks for a wonderful trip. The three hotels we stayed in were all in great locations. They were very clean and the staff at each were wonderful and helpful.

All of the transfer drivers were helpful and on time. I could not have set up the train and transfers on my own for my family. Everything went very smoothly. You did a great job.

The tours and guides were great!

The only negative for our trip was the day we did the Ancient Rome tour in the morning followed by the Vatican tour in the afternoon. This was way too much touring for one day. We along with many others left the Vatican tour approximately two hours early. If I could change one thing it would be to do the Vatican tour in the morning on another day. The tour moved very slowly. In the museum you either looked at things you had no interest in or could not stop to look at the things you wanted to. It was very difficult to keep with the group and hear using the headset because it would cut out if the tour guide got too far away. We were so looking forward to this tour since we are Catholic and I wanted my children to have a great experience.

Thanks for a fantastic 9 days!! We will never forget our vacation to Italy. We can't wait to go back again.

Our vacation was fantastic! The hotels, the transfers, and the guided tours were all first class.
I promised myself that I would post some reviews to Trip Advisor but have not yet taken the time to do so.

The tour guides your company uses are some of the best in the business.
We were especially impressed with the Ancient Rome tour on April, hosted by Francesca. Her knowledge of and presentation of the subject were fantastic. Also, her recommendation for a quick lunch near the Vatican was very much appreciated.

Lucca was also a very good guide for our tour of the Vatican. As with Francesca, he recommended a nice little place for wine and snacks after the tour. Again, very much appreciated.

For both of the tours we took in Florence on May 2nd (walking tour of Florence and the Uffizi), Antonia was our guide. She has a very engaging personality and her enthusiasm for the history of Florence is infectious.

Vincenzo was also a very good guide for our private tour of Pompeii. Very nice gentleman.

Also deserving mention is Vincenzo, who provided our private car transfer to Sienna with a stop in Montalcino on April 28th. He provided some interesting historical information on the areas we passed through. His lunch recommendation in Montalcino was very good and he also directed us to a choir group holding practice after lunch. As luck would have it, one of the songs the choir performed was also the song we danced our first dance to at our wedding 25 years ago. It moved my wife to tears and was a very special moment for both of us. Thank you Vincenzo.

We are so happy you recommended we spend a couple of nights in Sienna. It was one of our favorite places and is certain to be one that we will visit again.

The hotels were all very nice and very good value. We liked the Palazzo Ravizza in Sienna for its garden and overall atmosphere. Our room at the Hotel Minerva in Sorrento had a stunning view of the bay of Naples and Sorrento. The Hotel L'Orologio in Florence was in an excellent location, as was the Hotel Saturnia in Venice. We had one of our most enjoyable meals in La Caravella restaurant at the Saturnia. From start to finish, there is nothing I could think of to improve the whole meal - preparation, presentation, taste, and service were superb.
The Hotel Capo d'Africa in Rome was also in a good location and had an excellent breakfast buffet. The staff working the breakfast room at the Capo d'Africa stand out for their excellent service and very friendly manner.

Overall, this was a very enjoyable vacation. Your company met or exceeded all of our expectations. We felt very secure in knowing that your staff were there to assist us if ever we needed them. The one occasion I remember requiring assistance was just prior to our tour of the Ufizzi. We had trouble finding the designated door to meet our guide and were a couple of minutes late. In less than 5 minutes from the scheduled start time of the tour someone from your office called me and directed us to our waiting guide.

We would not hesitate to use Avventure Bellissime for any future visits and have already recommended your company to friends who are considering a trip to Italy.

Thank you very much for helping make this a wonderful, stress-free vacation.

From the first email exchange to the last taxi to the airport. The itinerary and vouchers keep us organized and provided all the information we needed to keep things running smoothly. Every one of our drivers and guides were on time, friendly and extremely helpful. This took the stress of traveling away. We did not have to worry about getting lost with our children or of missing our trains or plane. We were able to relax and really enjoy being in Italy, experiencing the culture and taking in the amazing sites. We had two “stand-out” guides, Luca in Rome and Francesco in Florence. Both gentlemen are true assets to your company. They were both so knowledgeable of the area and history. They were helpful by offering many great suggestions and assistance getting around. We loved Luca’s use of technology. He carried with him an IPad, and used it to show us what the Colosseum and Ancient Rome would have looked like in their prime. Amazing! Francesco guided us through the hills of the Tuscan region and showed us little towns and magnificent views. Although it didn’t work out, he even tried to help us alter our trip to fit in another tour. He is truly a special person. We loved everything about our trip and are ready to come back soon.
