Hello Avventure Bellissime,
Apologies for our delay in letting you know how much we enjoyed our tour with your company.
In fact, it was fantastic and exactly what we were after.
Your guides were exceptional and their knowledge first class.
We loved Francesca for the Colosseum and Vatican City Tours in Rome. She was our very own personal guide and was just so full of energy, knowledge and just a lovely person.
Our driver to Amalfi Coast, Khan was also excellent however we had to concentrate to understand his Indian accent. He looked after us and we were his number one priority all day long. What an exceptional driver to contend with 'that' traffic on Mamma Mia road! The Pompeii guide, which we realise is not part of your company, was so knowledgeable and a lot of fun.
Onto Florence, Giacomo, another exceptional driver was a lot of fun and also very knowledgeable. That was perhaps one of our highlight days among many.
Still in Florence and again we had our own personal guide to see Florence and the statue of David. Michela was just lovely and again, like, Francesca had so much knowledge and so happy and friendly. We loved Florence and 'that' statue of David.
Our stay in Venice was excellent and although the tour groups were bigger we understood the need for a bigger group when there are so many visitors every day.
Overall, the tour was amazing. We had a fabulous time and all the accommodation places were exceptional, nothing was a problem.
We thank you very much for a fantastic time spent in Italy. Your tour met all our expectations and more.

We just returned from this trip and absolutely loved it! Our guides in Rome, Francesca, and in Florence, Antoinella, were especially wonderful. We were able to see so much in every place we went and yet still have down time and time on our own to explore. The only thing we would change is the day trip to the Amalfi Coast and Pompeii. We would have loved more time in Pompeii but after driving all day to see the towns on the Amalfi coast there just wasn't enough time in Pompeii. Next time we would book a separate trip to Mt. Vesuvius, Herculaneum and Pompeii. Otherwise we loved this trip and Avventure Bellissime exceeded our expectations. Thank you!

Good morning team,
We really had a good tour, we are really satisfied with the way that the tour was scheduled and operated. we were travelling with a kid and it was fun for all of us. from the very start of the planning, Aleksandra and Claudia gave a us a huge support on changing of the schedule and suggesting what to choose in between. they are really great.
your tour guides are really good too. they have given us insight information on every where we visited. they are fun too. our tour guide to Coliseum and Pompe were excellent, even though I cant remember their names. our tour to Dolomites were excellent, what a beautiful scenery it was.
hotels that we stayed in are good, (I wouldn't think they are really 4 star hotels as suggested in the hotel package). however I'm really happy of the location of each hotel, they are so conveniently located to each attraction that we visited.
I would certainly recommend Avventure Bellissime to anyone who wanted to travel to Italy, and this 9 days tour covers each of the place that one need to visit in Italy (but we got a add on to Pisa leaning tower which is really worth to have). Aleksa helped us to suitably/carefully placed the tour to Pisa tower where we didn't pay extra to the hotel. (btw- I have already recommended your tour company to a colleague of mine who plans to travel to Italy in next year)
thank you very much or the great tour.
special thank to Aleksa and Claudia.

My daughter and I recently returned from the Seven Wonders of Italy tour. We were both very happy with your tour company, all of the guides and drivers were prompt, friendly and informative. It was wonderful knowing that transfers, and etc were already taken care of and that we did not have to figure out how to get somewhere. There is one guide however, who deserves special recognition. Francesca. The second day that we were in Rome, we boarded the metro to take to the Colosseum for our first tour. Unfortunately, on the way there we fell victim to professional pickpockets, losing all of our cash, as well as my daughter's driver's license and debit card. (We were embarrassed, and feeling very much like dumb tourists, until a few days later we met several other people who had the same fate. Apparently it is a common problem, on the metro and public buses.Note: They work in pairs or groups, keep your valuables tight to your chest, with your hand on the zipper, or use under the clothing money bag). Anyway, feeling quite down and trying to figure out what we were going to do, Francesa was our bright light on a dark day. Several times during the day she offered to buy us water,(which we did not take her up on because we had some), and when we needed to take a cab from the Colosseum to the Vatican, she paid our cab fare because the cab driver did not take credit cards. (Thankfully I still had my credit card, which I was able to use later to get a cash advance at a bank. And thank goodness they didn't get our passports. Note: We met a woman who told us to take photocopies of your passports and carry those with you instead of the original....which you should lock in your hotel safe. She said they don't need to see the original, and she was right...the bank was fine with the photocopy.) At one point, Francesca asked how else she could help us..... As an effort to make amends to Francesca's kindness, we bought her some tarts at the restaurant we stopped at for lunch that day (they took credit), and she proceeded to share them with the rest of the tour group. The restaurant owner (hearing of what happened to us), gave us a bag of cookies free of charge. Francesca is a gem, and she deserves every bit of recognition. Other than the pickpocketing event, (which we did not let ruin our trip), we had a wonderful time. Our tour guide Hector in Pompeii was great, and Susan in Venice was very informative and entertaining. Now, for the hotels. All were rated three stars, but they were quite different from each other. Hotel Diplomatic in Rome had a very small, simple and a bit primitive room, but the restroom was nice. The desk staff was not overly friendly or helpful. Hotel Porta Faenza in Florence was beautiful, with a lot of charm. Large room, the desk staff offered us a map on arrival, were extremely friendly and helpful. Everyday they had a small platter of pastries and drinks available in the foyer. Hotel Canaletto was also a good experience, with a charming room and friendly helpful staff. Beautiful Venetian glass mirror and chandelier in the room. All three hotels had a satisfactory breakfast. When asked what was our favorite part of the trip was, my daughter and I both agree on the Pompeii tour. As far as the cities, my daughter preferred Venice. I am undecided, either Florence or Venice. Every city was different....if you want to see the better known attractions such as the Colosseum and the Vatican, Rome is the place to go. But the people there are not as friendly as in the other cities. Plus, be careful not to eat at an establishment too close the the attractions or they will overcharge you. We were charged 83 Euros for 5 gelatos. Florence was very clean, we always saw people in orange vests cleaning up the squares, very friendly people....Venice was not as clean, but the people are very friendly and it is so very unique. The walking tours of the cities were fabulous, as you learned things you would not have known about if you did not take the tour. I highly recommend your company.

We were very happy with our trip. I feel like it was set up with a good balance of guidance from you along with our own free time. The hotel locations were all perfect for being able to walk almost everywhere that we needed to go. It was extremely helpful to have the private transfers to/from the hotels. Pretty much the only transportation we had to do ourselves was the Metro in Rome along with the Alilaguna water bus to the airport in Venice. I apologize for the length of this, but I’m going to do a city-by-city breakdown of my thoughts:
I’m glad that we added the extra day in Rome. Doing the morning tour of ancient Rome along with the Vatican in the afternoon would have been a lot. The way we set it up worked great because after the morning Ancient Rome tour we were able to walk around and visit the Piazza Navona, Pantheon, and Trevi Fountain. Too bad about the Trevi Fountain being dry for maintenance right now though. The Hotel Capo D’Africa was a great hotel and location. We were able to walk everywhere, except we took the Metro when we went to the Vatican. Sergio was our guide for the Ancient Rome tour and he was very friendly and knowledgeable. There were a few times though that I wish we would have had the earphones like we did on all our other small group tours. But we only had 7 in our group, so we were usually able to be close enough to hear. Sergio had a book he kept showing us that had pictures of the ruins today, but then he would flip a page and it would show what the area used to look like on top of what is there today. That was very helpful to visualize how things used to be.
This was one of our favorite parts of the trip. Probably the only negative I can come up with is that it was a very long day. We were picked up from our hotel at 7 a.m. and didn’t get back until about 8:30 p.m. I think it was worth it though. With both locations being so far south of Rome, it only makes sense to do them both during the same day. Brando was our driver and he may have been our favorite guide of the whole trip. The Amalfi coast was just beautiful and Brando made some nice stops along the way for us to take pictures. We had an extended stop in Positano for lunch and that was a really neat place. I knew I would like Pompeii because of what has been unburied. What I didn’t expect was how advanced their civilization was and how much we learned about all that. I forget our guide’s name at Pompeii, but he is a 3rd generation guide there. He could be a bit abrupt at times, but his knowledge of that place is incredible and he did a good job of showing us the highlights. You can tell he is passionate about what he does.
I wasn’t sure what to expect at Florence, but I was pleasantly surprised. There is a lot of history there and when it comes to statues all you hear about is David, but there were so many other wonderful statues as well. The Hotel Porta Faenza was a perfect location to get everywhere that we needed to be. I forget the name of our guide there, but she did a good job and was friendly and knowledgeable.
Beautiful area, but probably not at the same level as the Amalfi Coast. Also, we stopped in 4 villages and they all seemed pretty similar. If we had gone here before Amalfi Coast, we would have been a lot more impressed, but it is just hard to top the Amalfi Coast. Our guide was very good. We enjoyed the boat ride between two of the villages, as it was pretty hot that day and that was a nice way to cool off.
Very touristy. Lots and lots of tourists, everywhere. I’m awful with names, so I don’t remember the name of the guide who met us at the train station, but she was very helpful in getting us to the water taxi and while we were on the taxi she gave us a map and explained a lot about Venice. We stayed at the Hotel Violino D’Oro, and like the other hotels it was a perfect location. The gondola station outside was very busy, but it was nice and quiet inside our room. It was nice being able to walk and get to our meeting point for the tours in about 5 minutes. I am glad that we added the Doge’s Palace tour to this trip. The general tour of St. Marks and the city was nice, but it wouldn’t have felt complete without touring the Doge’s Palace as well.
We came away from the trip very happy and we are glad we chose to go with your company. Our friends and family have asked us about the trip, and if any of them go to Italy any time soon, we will highly recommend you. For a first time visitor to Italy, it is so nice to not have to worry about how we were going to get from the airport to our hotel, then to the train stations, then to our next hotel. All we had to do was enjoy ourselves. The small group tours were a perfect size, and it was helpful when we had the earphones to be able to hear the guides. It was also nice having “skip the line” tickets, especially when you see the lines stretching for several city blocks. We did not want to be in one of those groups that goes around in a 40-seat coach bus. The small groups and smaller vans allowed us to go everywhere. Our only regret is that we wish we could have stayed another week. If we ever get back to Italy, I think we will want to spend more time at the Amalfi Coast, maybe with a day trip to Capri. We’d also want to spend a few days in the Tuscan countryside. But time and money limited us to what we did, and I feel like this tour was perfect for the time and money we had. It did a great job of hitting the highlights.
I am very busy right now, but in the next week or two I plan on writing some reviews for Tripadvisor for the hotels we stayed at and the restaurants we ate at. If your company is on there, I’ll also write a good review for you.
Thank you so much, you all do a wonderful job

My wife and I want to thank everyone at Avventure Bellissime for making our long awaited vacation to Italy such an enjoyable trip. Your entire staff was professional, knowledgeable, on-time, helpful and most of all, they were all “nice people”. We learned that whatever was scheduled on our voucher, you would have someone there on-time or early, to meet us. When we mistakenly missed a tour, you went out of your way to reschedule a new day and time for us.
I will recommend your company to anyone interested in seeing Italy, and we look forward to traveling to Italy again with your help.

We had a wonderful trip. I talked about your company on Trip advisor and have told all my friends that there is no better way to see Italy. We loved being on our own, yet having day trips and tours and all our travel arranged for us.
The guides in Florence and the travel assistance in Venice was wonderful. We loved our trip and really loved Italy. Such a great place.

I just want to thank you for all your help with this trip. We had a fabulous vacation. Thanks also to the guides: Sergio, Max, Claudia, Katarina, Sabrina, Christina, and Giacamo. I hope I remembered them all. They were incredibly knowledgeable about the history of the sites we visited.

We had the time of our life. It could not have been any better. We kept the cards of the tour guides as all of them were excellent. We have recommended your company to 10 people already. We need to go on line and do a few reviews. Thanks so much.
We couldn't believe how great all the guides were and that everyone was on time!!
