Cross over the Rialto Bridge on a special gondola which is widely used as public transportation.

A tour of wonder and discovery awaits you.

Let the Rialto market put a spell on you as you walk through it, marvelling at its vibrant colours and smells. Learn about the history of Venice as one of the most rich and flourishing markets of the western world.

Visit one of the most beautiful little campi's (campielli in Venetian) facing the Grand Canal, where in olden times there would have been many oar workshops for the gondolas. Venture through to the Cannareggio district to see one of the oldest churches in Venice that dates from 7th Century and was restored in Renaissance times. Relax on a gondola, which crosses the grand canal to reach the other side of Venice, where Rialto and San Polo await you.

After exploring Rialto market and experiencing a Venitian osteria, embark on a walking tour through some of the most hidden, secretive areas of San Polo. This is where (at the time of La Serenissima, during renaissance times) east and west met and where spices, precious fabrics, silk and many other goods were traded by merchants from around the globe.

The Merchants of Venice needed places where they could sleep, eat and drink, as well as places where they could store their goods. For the most important countries trading in Venice, the Venetian government gave them entire palaces to be dedicated to this. The Merchants also needed to relax from their hectic life and during this walking tour of the Hidden Venice, we'll visit the medieval red light district of Castelletto.

As we venture further into the Hidden Venice where picture-postcard views appear around every corner and where you can also appreciate the true charm of this silent city, far from the hordes of tourists - where it feels as if time has stopped at the XV century. After strolling through, you’ll visit one of the most beautiful Campi (squares) of Venice - San Polo. Like a grand arena (where there used to be bull fights!), with its elegant palaces, it is a complete contrast to the narrow streets, dark passageways, delicate bridges and tiny courtyards of the Hidden Venice.

The tour will conclude back by the Rialto bridge.

Disappointing. We did the hidden venice tour last tuesday and were really disappointed. Our guide was very friendly and cheerful, but that's it. It took her soooo long to convey just the tiniest information, she would repeat everything twice or thrice as if talking to children and she just didn't seem able to express herself properly in english - she talked minutes about a picture of Tizian, saying almost nothing. Don't get me wrong, I do think that she knew a lot and was competent - she could answer questions without hesitation - but unfortunately, only few informations were succesfully transferred. The church is worth a look and its interesting to here about prostitution in old venice but all in all it was a waste of time. Sorry.

We booked 2 tours in advance of our 4 day visit to Venice and we were not disappointed. Both tours were very informative and very entertaining and the fact that we had the same guide on both was a real bonus. Being born in Venice he was very passionate about the city and its history and his clear, easy style was delightful.

This was a wonderful way to get to know Venice from which we were able to go off and explore ourselves with confidence. Congratulations! A very good experience.

We went on 3 of your tours and found all to be excellent and they made our holiday. The guides spoke good English were well educated in history and/or art and brought the tours to life.

Recently, I took two tours with you – the Ghost and Legends Tour with Cristina and the Hidden Venice Tour with Fiona. Both were exceptional. Both tour guides were very interesting, engaging, and very knowledgeable.
The Ghost and Legends Tour was quite fun with Cristina having a great sense of humor. Fiona was a fountain of very interesting information on history, art, and architecture. I would highly recommend these tours to other visitors to Venice.
I had already been in Venice for several days when I took these tours, and I had already done a lot of walking around, but I learned and could appreciate so much more with the information they provided.

We would like to pass on our thanks to your guides and staff for our tours this week.
A wonderful experience. We used your services 7 years ago & this year, again, did not disappoint.
Great service, nothing too much trouble. Great guides. Especially on Sunday, at the Friari as it was Palm Sunday the church did not open to the public until 1330, when it was supposed to finish, but our guide stayed until at least 1415 after the tour.
Thank you to all. Happy Easter!

My husband and I participated in this tour last Sunday 6 April.

I believe our tour guide's name was Cristina. She was excellent! Her enthusiasm and knowledge were contagious. She was so lively and kept great eye contact with everyone in the group, it was easy to stay entertained. She has a great personality and was a fun guide.

We loved the walk and the Frari Church especially! I would highly recommend this tour to anyone! We really enjoyed our stay in Venice, and it was enhanced by this tour.
