Guide was friendly and knowledgeable. Very enthusiastic which was nice. There really isn't a better way to tour Doge's palace. Even so, I felt that some rooms could have used more attention than they got. We sped through some really cool rooms and wasted a lot of time in smaller, less important rooms. We actually went back through on our own after the tour so that we could see these rooms. The pace was definitely directed by the tour guide, and not by audience preference. The guide also displayed her emotions about the rooms, rather than just giving us the facts and letting us decide what to think. If something is truly magnificent, it will speak for itself.

Thank you, your tour guide was excellent, knew her subject with enthusiasm and conveyed history in a memorable way. Her knowledge of the architecture and its underlying structure was impressive. We were in group 20. Please convey our appreciation to her for beginning our experience in Venice in such a positive way.

The tour was very informative and our tour guide, I forget her name, was so descriptive and well informed about venice's history. She made the Doge's palace such a pleasant experience. As a history major in college, I greatly appreciated everything; she had added so much knowledge to my understanding of the beginnings of venice and the check and balances political structure of the time. I look forward to more tours with your company in Venice once I return back.

This tour made our visit to Venice worthwhile. Our small group consisted of 16 people, but it was very manageable because our tour guide Luisella was fantastic and the sound system worked very well. Luisella is intelligent, humorous and dynamic. She brought the Doge's Palace to life in a way that appealed to all of us, including my 15 year old son. If you want to experience Venice in a way beyond its obvious beauty, take this in-depth tour of the Doge's Palace.

Guide arrived late. But her energy took what we saw and created a story/picture of what life was like when Venice was at its peak. That made the tour worthwhile and more than a tour of a building and paintings.
