Do your tour guides speak a good English?

We insure that our guides are all fluent and articulate English speakers – because we know that the stories and history they are sharing with you are important and fascinating, and we want to make sure you don't miss a word.

How will I find the meeting point for the tour

All our tours start from centrally located departure points, if you booked a Private Tour the tour will depart from your hotel. After receiving your reservation we will automatically send you a tour voucher confirming your reservation and all the details of the tour including the meeting point.

How will I recognize the tour guide?

For our regular scheduled tours, a company representative will be waiting for you holding a sign with Avventure Bellissime written on it. For Private Tours your guide will be waiting for you holding a sign with your name written on it.

Is there a dress code?

Yes! When entering religious sites anywhere in Italy you need to cover shoulders, stomachs and knees out of respect. We also suggest comfortable walking shoes.

What happens if I lose the voucher?

Please contact us as soon as you realize you lost your voucher and a copy will be provided. Do you arrange tours on different languages other than English? All our regular group tours are in English only! We can arrange tours in other languages, but only on a private basis.

How do I amend a reservation?

Amendments or changes to your reservation have to be sent via e-mail @ or via fax @ +39041982434. Remember to quote your name, name of the tour and date of the tour you wish to modify and mostly important to us is your reservation number.

How do I cancel a tour?

It is important when cancelling a tour you provide your name, tour name and date of the tour you wish to cancel and mostly important to us is your reservation number. Cancellation can be made via e-mail @ or via fax @ +39041982434, your reservation will be cancelled and we will provide a cancellation number for your records. Credit card refunds will be made according to our cancellation policy.

Do you accept American Express?

Our online secure server accepts Mastercard and Visa credit cards only, however if requested in advance we can accept American Express. Procedure for accepting American Express requires longer procedure and for this reason we can not accept it for last minute bookings. A 3% fee is applied on American Express credit card transactions.

Is your site secure?

Our Internet site uses the SSL encryption protocol to guarantee secure transactions and complete confidentiality. We use a security certificate issued by the company THAWTE.

Your bank details and all the information you enter on the various forms are automatically encrypted when your data is transferred over the network. The SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption system automatically encrypts your data before it is transmitted over the network, and it can only be decrypted using a unique key once it has arrived on our server.

What is your cancellation policy

Please refer to the individual tour pages, and on each tour page you just need to click on the "Booking & cancellation policy" to see our cancellation policy.

When is the best period of the year to visit Italy?

Of course, spring time from March till mid May is best period to visit Italy, the days are longer and weather is milder however it is not always possible to plan a vacation when we want it! For American visitors June and July are the preferred months to travel, even if they are the hottest months of the year, it's actually low season for hotels during this period as the Italians flock to the beaches.

What happens after I've made a reservation through your website?

When concluding the reservation through our website you are provided of a reservation number and a link to print a version of the services booked. Also an e-mail is sent to your email address that you provided at the time of booking that will include your reservation number as part of a confirmation message. If for any reason you do not receive these messages within 48-hours do not hesitate to contact us.

How do I find out if one of your day tours is already confirmed with the required minimum of participants?

Our day tours operate with a minimum of 4 people, for this reason in the case the tour you have booked is not confirmed yet you will be provided with detailed instructions on your voucher in how to proceed and find out whether the tour is confirmed or not.

Credit card details will only be used to guarantee the reservation. Charges will be made as soon as we reach the minimum required to operate the tour.

It is important you enter on the booking form when making the reservation through our online server a contact phone number while you are in Italy and the name of your hotel. Of course, the more information we have the better.

What kind of information do you need to book one of your tours through your website?

We require your name, address, credit card number (mastercard or visa) along with expiry date and security code (last 3 digits code on the back of your card), the name of lead traveller and participants on the tour. Also a contact phone number while in Italy is highly recommended as well as your hotel's name and address. It is important when providing hotel's name you enter a phone n° sometimes because of the privacy policy some hotels do not disclose their phone number.

Can I book one of your tours over the phone?

It makes much more sense to reserve via the internet. We cannot take reservations over the phone for tours in Rome, the only thing to do is either forward a booking form to you that you would need to fax to us to confirm the reservation.

What do I need to do if I need to reserve a larger group than the size you advertise on the website?

In this case you may send us an e-mail @ or fax @ 041/982434 with the type of service you require , exact number of participants, age and num of children, date or period in which you wish to travel. Or you can break down your reservation into more than one, for example, if you want to book 16 people, make two reservations eight on each one. Always remember to cross-reference bookings via the comment s box on the form you complete to make a reservation.

How do I find out prices for multiple tour reservations and/or family special rates?

We applies different rates and discounts depending on the tours chosen , num of participants period of the year… etc so being request of this type generally very different from each other we can not have a specific section on our site with different rates. For these reasons we kindly ask you to contact us before you reserve our tours via e-mail @ or fax @ 041/982434.

Can wheelchair users join your group tours?

Because of the numerous tours we offer it is not possible to specify in any of our tours if it is wheelchair friendly. We recommend you to contact us to check with us which are the most suitable tours for you.
